Melaka Trip/ 马六甲旅遊

今天(2月21日2010年)，我又回到历史永久的马六甲旅遊。很久没有来到马六甲，感覺到这里的变化很大！你们是否知道，郑和下西洋有经过马六甲海峡？你是否知道，葡萄牙, 荷蘭和英国都有统治马六甲？

这里的古迹建筑物都带出复古的感覺。尤其你在走路时侯，你会停着和看着地上，因为地里可能埋着古迹。

你是否知道，在馬六甲，你可以找到許多土生華人（本地馬來組合華人）的文化和食物 ！當你在那裡，你必須嘗試當地的食物，例如Chandol和雞飯球。幾乎每家店你都可以找到。

Today (21 February 2010), I revisited to Malacca, Malaysia for one day vacation trip. It had been a long time that I never visited it and Malacca changes a lot!! Do you know that this state linked with long history and is the oldest state of whole Malaysia?

It linked with Zheng He, Dutch, Portuguese and England history. There are many oldest building remains which you still can find it at Malacca!! Like the fortress, churches and temple! If you noticed the ground, you still can able to spot some building remains which still buried.

Do you know that in Malacca, you can find many Peranakans (Local Malay mix with Chinese) cultures and the food!! When you are there, you must try the local food like Chandol and the Chicken Rice Ball. You can find it almost every shop houses at Malacca.

If you intend to visit to the Malacca old town, there are many methods which you can follows.

If you are from Singapore, You can simply drive in North about 3 hours journey to Malacca. Or, you can buy coaches ticket from Golden Miles Complex or Lavender.

If you are from Malaysia, You can simply drive in south about 3 hours to Malacca from KL. Or, you can buy coaches ticket from either Kotaraya II, JB or Pudu, KL or any major states bus terminal.

Chingay Street Parade on 20 February 2010

Chingay Street parade street which held every Chinese New Year. Many locals and tourists all flown down to F1 race pit to catch the grandest and largest Asia street parade ever!

I went to watch the actual day of Chingay Street parade on 20 February 2010! There are goodies bag given. And this year, it is much better compare to last year!!

I will be watching the next year Chingay for sure!!

Marina Bay Sands to be Open/ 濱海灣金沙集團分階段開幕

據新聞報導，新加坡的第二個綜合娛樂城，濱海灣金沙集團會在4月27日，2010年分階段開幕。

濱海灣金沙也會贊助他們的場地為媒體中心，供新加坡有史以來的第一屆夏季青年奧運會在今年的8月舉行。

濱海灣金沙承諾，消費者將有很大的豪華精品店和新興的高檔購物體驗。他們有包括赌场，博物館，2個聽唱會館，博覽會館，室外的空中公園。

According to the news report, Singapore's second Intergrated Resort (IR), Marina Bay Sands, will be partically open by batches stage on April 27, 2010.

Marina Bay Sands will also sponsor their venue as Media Centre for Singapore ever first summer Youth Olympic when it held on August this year.

Marina Bay Sands promises that consumer will have great luxury boutiques and emerging high-end labels shopping experience when it opens to public.

You can expected many great branded brands like two-storey CHANEL store, Hermès, Louis Vuitton flagship store etcs, to be found at Marina Bay Sands and some of the brands will be for the first time set their shop front in Singapore.

You can expected boat sailing while you are shopping, chilling at the cafe, relax and enjoys the scenery.

Once the Sky Park opens to the public, you can enjoys the great Singapore unblocked scenery views!

Like Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Stadium and perhaps you can able spot some of the nearby country island as well.

You also can catch LIVE performance like the F1 races or fireworks while enjoying your finest dinner at famous chefs resturant or party at the nightclub which is located at Sky Park.

You also can catch the concert performance at two threatres like Disney's musical, Lion King! Which Marina Bay Sands will bring in on October 2010!

Sneak Preview of Universal Studios Singapore

今日（2010年2月19號），我的同學，朋友和我的阿姨有機會參觀新加坡環球影城。因為它沒有向公眾開放呢！我們非常興奮！當我們進去時，工作人員告訴我們，你們的票要保留著，因為你們能換取晚餐。

這裡的工作人員很友善！對遊人有禮。我們終於進去了，我們好像變成小孩一般。我們一直拍照留戀。我的舅妈说要吃中餐。所以我们一伙人去中餐馆。

但是这里都满座了。我们得等一小时时间才有位。所以，我们订座席先。友善的员工给我们一个尋呼器。她解释说，当尋呼器响亮时，这代表我们能回到中餐馆享用我们的晚餐。

等的過程中，我們逛逛和拍照。突然，下起雨！儘管下起雨來，我們還是很興奮的逛逛。當我們要放棄中餐換去西餐時，尋呼器響亮了。所以，我們倒回去中餐館。

我們很意外的是，我們的S$10票能換取豐富的晚餐。這也包了撈餘生！很值得！當我們吃完後，我們繼續逛逛。

當 9點時，新加坡環球影城即將要關門了。我們有點捨不得地離開。我們還是拍照。過後，我們和工作人員拍照。我們也去新加坡環球影城店買商品。過後，我們到了賭場拍照留戀。然後才回家。

Today (19 February 2010), My classmates, friends and my aunties got the chance to visit sneak preview of Universal Studios Singapore as it has not open to public yet!

I text message to all my classmates and friends that we will be meeting at Vivo City, 3floor at 6pm. I reached at 5.20pm and waited for everyone to be arrive. But, I received text messages from my friends that they will be late. I am so puzzled. Few days ago, they told me that could we met earlier and yet today they can text messages me that they will be late!!

Soon, my aunties reaches Vivo city. While waiting for my friends and classmates, we went to Toast box and get some drinks. Soon, my friends reach and I still have to wait for my classmates to arrive. Soon, everyone reaches and we still have to wait for one person.

Then, my aunties makes fun saying, wow! We still have to wait for one VIP? Ha Ha.. Guess who is our VIP?

When everyone reaches, all of us tap our card and ride the Sentosa Express and alight at Waterfront station. Before we enter to Universal Studios Singapore, we all have took the group photos.

After that, we enter to the entrance. The friendly staffs usher us to the studios. When we enter inside the entrance and told us not to throw our ticket as it can exchange for one meal! When we enter to the gantry, our first reaction is WOW!! It is so beautiful!!! There are so many things to see and there are rides which is specially designs for Singapore very own Universal Studios!!

It makes us like small kids and took many photographs! Then, my aunt suggest to eat Chinese food. So, we went to Chinese Food Bistro. But, it is crowded and we need to reserve and it will take about an hour. The staff pass to us a paging device. She told us that when it our turn, the paging device will light up.

So, we went around and took more photos! We took many funny pictures. Sudden, it downpour! Despite the rain, we continue our journey and enjoy the beautiful scenery!

Do you know that Universal Studios Singapore have the outdoor Air Con and covered walkway system? Which is mean, you can go through anywhere without worry the rain and sunny weather!

But some part of the theme is not covered! It will be great, if Universal Studios Singapore can build more covered walkway. I also realized that some of their covered walkway is leaking!

We also took photographs with the friendly staffs. They willing to take photographs with the visitors, they smile and serve with passion!

When we about to give up the Chinese food bistro and intend to change to Western food bistro, the paging device sounds. So we return back to Chinese Food bistro.

We are surprised that, they serve us full main course and include the Yu Sheng! You can only eat Yu Sheng during Chinese New Year!! It is worth of value. We got the ticket at S$10 and exchange with the full main course! We are very delighted!!

After that, we went around the places before it close (9pm) for today. We took more photographs and we could not bear to leave as we do not have enough time to finish the whole tour!! We all vow to return back to Universal Studios Singapore and join the VIP once it is open to public!

We also went in to the Universal Studios Singapore store to get items for ourselves. After that, we bid goodbye to the friendly staffs. After that, we went to Casino area and took some photographs before we went back home.

Resort World Sentosa

Today (18 February 2010), I went to Resort World Sentosa again as tomorrow I will be going for sneak previews of Universal Studios Singapore. Although there are people around the Resort World Sentosa but it still can able to manage.

We also watched the LIVE musical fountains outside near to Universal Studios Singapore. But rather disappointed. Within half show, many visitors all leave the place and stop watching.

There are rooms to be improve for Resort World Sentosa as I can spot some weak points.

The Car Park. It is not easy visually for the car driver to find the lots. It slightly too confusing. It will be better if the management can put more LCD displays and Car park lot slot initiate by showing color LCD where driver would know which slot is still available so that the driver can park their car.

The toilet near the Casino tunnel Lift. The Gentlemen toilet rubbish bin is always full and the toilet is very dirty. It will be great if there are more cleaners to clean it.

The Musical Fountain. It will be great if Resort World Sentosa can put more Laser lighting and more sound effect and more entertains musical fountains performance. The current one with spooky performance too dull and disappointing. Maybe can put more shows like 2000 hours, 2100 hours instead of current 2100 hours with better effect.

Language. Currently, Resort World Sentosa only have English and Chinese Simplified as the official language. It will attracts more visitor if there are more languages like Japanese and Korean. It will be great if it can add on to Chinese Traditional language, so that it can attracts visitors from Hong Kong and Taiwan. Most theme parks contains all those languages.

Although there are weak point, but the good point is that all their staffs at Resort World Sentosa are extreme friendly and nice. They smile and greet to all visitors which make us very happy.

Keep it the good work for maintain such a good staffs. All the best for Resort World Sentosa.

After going to Resort World Sentosa, we went to other side of Sentosa Island to see the lighting of the Chinese New Year theme display and also ride Tiger Tower to see the night scenery.

The Sentosa staffs also wear some of the costume to entertain the visitors. The weather is cool too. How I wish there are more night events as it makes the night scene very nice! Once again, Happy Chinese New Year.

Keppel Bay Island

今天去了吉寶灣島漫游。这里的夜景真迷人。你们可以到这里享用餐馆的美食，帆船，看星星，拍照或谈天说地。

Today went to Keppel Bay Island. The scenery here is great!! You can dine in, sailing, lie on the ground to see the stars, photography or enjoy the night scene with your love one.

Pays Tribute to World War II at Labrador Nature Reserve

在1942年2月15日，日军打进新加坡，第二次世界大戰就这样開始。现在还是新年期间，我決定拜访拉布拉多自然保護區，了解悠久的歷史和战争设在这里。

你是否知道拉布拉多自然保護區可以追踪回到1349年，並與鄭和有关？拉布拉多自然保護區也被稱為龍牙門。在該時期鄭和在他的船航行，並通過淡馬錫（新加坡過去的名稱）。他画的地图就是龍牙門。

在1819年時，新加坡成為英國的殖民地時代。拉布拉多自然保護區仍是重要的港口，因為許多船隻必須通過拉布拉多自然保護區。

由於拉布拉多自然保護區重要的是英國人，他們決定建立國防。但是，它從未使用過的。如今，拉布拉多自然保護區是一個好地方。釣魚，休閒，散步，慢跑和學習歷史都可以来这里。

On 15th February 1942, Singapore was fall over to Japanese and the Second World War had begun.

Today (18 February 2010), I decided to visit to Labrador Nature Reserve to pay tribute and to find out the long history linked to Labrador Nature Reserve.

Do you know that Labrador Nature Reserve can track back to year 1349 and also linked to Zheng He (郑和)? Labrador Nature Reserve was also known as Long Ya Men (龙牙门) during that period when Zheng He sailed his boat and passed Temasek (Singapore past name).

In the year 1819 when Singapore become British colonial era. Labrador Nature Reserve was still the important port, as many boats had to pass through Labrador Nature Reserve.

Since Labrador Nature Reserve is important to the British, they decided to build for defence and secured the area. But, it never been used at all. Still, the War broke.

Today, Labrador Nature Reserve is a nice place to chill, fishing, relaxing, hiking, jogging and learning the history. If you have time, why not dropping by to Labrador Nature Reserve and see it for yourself.

Apology

Dear readers, I am sorry that I could not update and upload the pictures in my Blog entry on time. As I do not have free time to do it. This weekend, all my schedule are so full and tight. Even now, I just reached home and updating my status.

Today, I will be outstation to Malaysia for a day as well. Most likely, I will be taking ton of pictures as well! I promise you that you will be delight to see my Blog entry from the next entry.
