River Hongbao 2010

Today is the 3rd day of Chinese New Year. My mum, aunt and I went to River Hongbao 2010 with the neighbourhood community. The community cater 2 buses.

At 6pm, we board the bus and they gave us 1 water bottle, one box of snack and one grow in the dark light stick. Soon, the engine start and we are now heading to River Hongbao 2010 which is held at Marina Stadium.

Finally, we reached. And the guide told me to gather in specific timing as there will be LIVE performance. We have some free time to walk around.

So I took couple of pictures. I simply love it!! The scenery is so grand!!

Total Defence Day on 15 February 2010.

Dear friend,

Tomorrow is Second day of Chinese New Year, and yet tomorrow is the day where everyone should be remembered by heart! Tomorrow is the day where the Japanese attack Singapore on 15 February 1942.

Tomorrow, The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will sound the "Important Message" signal islandwide.

Let us remembered those cruel moments while we still can enjoy such a happy festival seasons. You can read more on my previous blog entry regarding Total Defence Day.

Chinese New Year Day 1

Today is the First Day of Chinese New Year. As usual, accompanied my mother to Bugis and head to Guan Yin Temple to pray. It was so crowded!! But at least, everyone is patient and cooperate. Then, we went to illuma awhile.

After that, we went to Orchard and walk around but most of the shops are closed. Then, we went back home.
