Taking a Taxi from Resort World Sentosa?

If you are intending to take a taxi at Resort World Sentosa, it will become more expensive. Taxi largest taxi operator, ComfortDelGro will impose a S$3 surcharge for all comfort taxi trips starting from the Resort World Sentosa.

It will implement the new surcharge starting this Friday, 12 February 2010 at 0600 hours. The surcharge will be displayed on the meter and printed on the receipt.

Another taxi operators might be implement such surcharge as well but it has no plan yet.

If you think that you are being conned/cheated by taxi driver, please remember to take printed receipt, the taxi plate number example, SH1234M. If possible, the taxi driver name, the date and time you are boarding and a brief account of the incident.
