Singapore Scenery: City Hall

As I mentioned in my previous blog entry on 7th June 2009 that my camera was not working anymore. I manage to save couple of photos through the memory card. I am regret that some of the photos unable to retrieve back anymore.

Got a New Camera

Today is my off day, I went to Olympus Service center and want to service my camera. When I reach the Service center which is located at Valley Point, the staff told me that my camera chip board is spoil and it is not worth repairing.

She offered me to trade in my old camera to get the new one which is much better compare. The camera trade in price only S$188. I got a brand new 550WP series, which is 10megapixel, 3x Zoom, 6.7-20.1mm 1:3.5-5.0. I need to top up additional of S$200 which is just nice as I just got my allowance today.

Actually, I am not keen on trading in as it is so expensive and on top of that, I travel all the way to Valley Point and yet my camera could not be repaired. Photography also part of my interest. So, I decide to take this offer.

This month, I need to save alot! As half of my allowance is invested in the brand new camera! I took white color and the design look cool. Much lighter and slimmer!

My Camera is dead!

I am sad that my camera is spoilt! Even my memory card is affected too! I thought of upload new pictures which I took but it is not working...

Camera is part of my life and yesterday I spent almost a day to snap Singapore scenery but now all my effect is gone!!

Where can I get the money to buy the new camera? I am not sure if my camera and memory card can be repair!!

God~ Help me... I really depressed without my camera... 

Singapore Oldest Hakka (客家) Temple

I went to Hakka temple which is locate at Old Holland Road via Holland Link. Which is believe to be the oldest Hakka temple in Singapore.

Although the temple is quite old and lack of maintenance but it still stand it charm. It still have engraving wording ( 刻字 ) displayed at the wall.

It has a nice scenery and look very peaceful and quiet. You cannot find such place elsewhere in Singapore.

Think Family

Think Family, a TV commercial which launched by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYC) which promotes the importance and the family bonding.

We should treasure whatever we have through our family members. We should not make any regrets when they are gone..

No matter what, our family is the most importance in our life. We could not change the fact.

Swine Flu Hilarious Video from Mrbrown

Nowadays, many people are affected from the Swine flu throughout the whole world.

Even Singapore are not spare with Swine flu! Since last week, Ministry of Health confirmed that we had one swine flu case.

Till now, we had 9 confirmed case in Singapore!! But, we are under control of swine flu. You might need to recall the SARS period which killed many people and how we fight for this SARS war!

You must protect ourselves and be responsible. We should not travel to affected countries unless there is a need and we should record down the details which we went..

I happened to view the youtube from Mrbrown regarding Swine Flu. The video is very hilarious and yet educate. Asked us to protect ourselves.
