First Time Voter

Today will be Singapore most important day for all the Singaporeans to vote for the future! Many people like myself will be the first time voting for the party whom can bring us promises, listen to our voices and help us fight for our rights!

I am so eager and delighted as this is my first time to vote! Plus every vote counts! Even one vote matter to a party! I woke up quite early today as I needed to work! I prepared myself and had my breakfast. After that, my dad and I headed down to Poll Station.

As I needed to work later, I needed to bring bag. So, when we reached the poll station, the officer asked for our ID and the poll card. After that, the police checked my bag for security purpose. After the check, we head down to our polling allocation to cast our vote. My dad and I are the same polling location B1, we followed the official to B1.

To our surprised, there are no one at B1 and A1 are crowded!! I went towards to the officer issuing polling list area. The officer A checked my ID and find my name on the list. After that Officer A put a tick and wrote down the index number. After that, Officer A passed my ID to officer B and the officer B tear the voting slip and saying out my name and my vote card index.

Now, this is the time where I will be voting for the party whom I can trust!! I had made a decision and I put a X next to the party name. After that, I took the polling card and drop in to the box and exit the polling station.

After that I bid good bye to my dad and head down to work. I hoped that tonight will have miracle happen and eagerly wanted to know how Singaporeans vote and how Singapore future change for the next 5 years!

We need to vote for the party which can work and represent us! This Elections will reflect on our future for the next 5 years! The future in our hand! We should vote wisely and our voices must be hear! Every vote counts! Voting is Compulsory, Your vote is secret!

Please remember to bring your NRIC, Polling card and please vote your cast from 0800 hours- 2000 hours at your designated Polling Station.

Singapore Food Trail

Do you ever wonder how Singapore Food street like in the Early 50's to late 70's? Or, perhaps you heard from your parent's or grandparent's that in their oldie days, they used to dine hawker food on the road side and the atmosphere are differences from the modern hawker center or food court.

If you do, there is one place you need to visit and experience it or you could bring them to refresh their memories! This newly dining attraction is call Singapore Food Trail. Their concept is to bring back many Singaporeans memories during their dining experiences in the oldie days and also wanted to showcase to tourists the food culture and Singapore past dining experience.

The Singapore Food Trail is located at Singapore Flyer ground level. The place can hold up to 800 diners and the interior design is setup as Oldie theme and our Singapore past.

From here you can see Singapore old road sign, oldie poster and what more the past game which our parent's, grandparent or even you might had played before!

You can even try the ice ball which today context known as Ice Kacang (Shaved Iced with Red bean). Nowadays, you can hardly find anyone selling bird nest drink which can only be found here!

There are many more local food which also can be found here as well, like the then famous Satay Club (In malay mean Skewered meat barbecued using Charcoal), Fried Carrot Cake and many more.

What more, The Singapore Food Trail is air- conditional so that the diners wont feel humid while trying on the local food delight!

The Singapore Food Trail open daily from 1030 hours to 2230 hours. Try not to visit during the lunch/dinner/weekends/school holidays or public holiday as it could be crowded and expected long queuing.

I strongly recommend you to visit during the night time as it can give you the atmosphere that you are transported to the past! At the same time, you can view Singapore night scenery!!

Model Photo Shoot

As most of you know that my interest are photography and wanted to become a photographer.
So, Goh, inexperienced model wanted to fulfill my dream to become a photographer. Our first attempted photo shooting with at Telok Blangah Hill Park!

I loved working with Goh as he had a passion to be a super model. He willingness to pose in a humid day and he also done some sit up into to get define muscles.

Although Goh and I are inexperienced model and photographer, but all of us willing to learn and practice it. Sometime, we could not get the effect that we wanted, we will re-shoot again till we really satisfied.

I admit that I wanted to shoot a perfect pictures so that the pictures which I shoot will look good. But overall, I loved and enjoyed to become photographer! How I wish I can have another session soon!!

If you are looking for inexperience photographer and also wanted to have photo taken but you cant able to afford the cost, perhaps you can look for me so that I can practice my photography skill and you can practice your modelling skill!

Abandon Jurong Line (Clementi)

Singapore is growing rapidly each day and many old buildings make way for the new one for better prospect and economics. It is very hard for us to find historical building or structure which can substance and represent our city state past and history.

Many people would not know, we used to have railway (Managed by KTM) in Clementi, which is located in the west part of Singapore. Only those who stay around the west should be able to know it.

In today context, the railway had been abandoned and it is now become one of nature park scenery for the residents who staying at Clementi and Sunset Way.

I always wanted to visit to the abandoned railway site long time ago but I had no chance. Finally, I got this chance to visit to the site which I always wanted to.

I met one of my friend who just came down from Malaysia to Singapore for leisure. My friend willing to accompany me to explore my curiously and solve the mystery for the abandoned railway.

We decided to walk and explore the area. Both of us never been there and I have no sense of direction so I based on my sixth sense to lead us to abandon railway. I told my friend that we can found the railway track if we reach Block 301 Clementi Avenue 4.

It took us long before we could find the tracks. Finally, we found the track and decide to explore and wander around. We had a hard time to walk along the track as the grass was long and thick and at the same time the railway tracks had not maintain for so long.

We keep on walking and the tracks seem to vanish out of no where. I guess they had removed part of the railway tracks. So we decided to U-turn back and walked to another side of the tracks. We keep on walking aimlessly till we found the railway overhead bridge tracks. We also surprised that we are on top of the small hill too!

At first when we walked towards to the overhead bridge, we do not seem it was scary at all. But slowly when we walked towards it, I began to feel very timid. I admit that I am not adventurous kind of person.

The overhead bridge seem to be very rusty over the years and the metal planks do not seem to be stable. At that time the wind was blowing very strongly! My whole leg are wobbling, but I say to myself, I need to cross over to take nice photos. So I encourage myself and cross over! It takes some time for me to cross over.

At last, I am so relief as I crossed over! Soon, the sky getting darker and we decided to end our trail half way at SunSet Way. We head over to Clementi Arcade for a drink as both of us are thirsty. When we reached there, we decide to have ice- cream instead.

We stayed there about half an hour before we walked back to Clementi Mrt station. I believed one day, I will explore the whole abandoned railway tracks soon!

If you would like to visit to abandon railway track, you can take SMRT East East Line and alight at Clementi MRT station. After which, you need to transfer to SBS bus number 284M to Block 301 Clementi Avenue 4.

On Wednesday, while working at retail store, there one customer praised and complimented me on my good customer service. This is my first time that customer really praised me and wanted to write complimentary form. I'm so surprised and speechless..

I am not sure how should I respond to this customer. I always tried my best and offered my help to the customer. I served with pride and courtesy to the customer.

We should polite, friendly and offered our best standard of customer service to our customer. As for customer wise, they should treat sales personnel friendly and nice to them. If sales personnel treat them well, the customer should praise them so that they will do it better!

Customer should not treat Sales personnel as an animal! If you are rusty to the Sales Personnel, of course they will rusty to you! Remember, Customer are not always right!

Anyway, I am so happy!! Thank you for this customer who shine my day =D

Goodbye Mrs Lee Kuan Yew (Madam Kwa Geok Choo)

On Saturday evening, island wide received bad news that Mrs Lee Kuan Yew (Madam Kwa Geok Choo) had passed away peacefully at age 89.

Singaporeans sudden quiet down. Those people who are using smart phone quickly checked the information about the news.

Mrs Lee wake will be held at Sri Temasek, Inside Istana on Monday and Tuesday from 1000 hours to 1700 hours. The whole nation mourns.

May Mrs Lee Rest in Peace. The whole nation will remembered you for what you did for Today Singapore.

Dining at Coca Cola Restaurant (Taipei City)

During my travel trip to Taipei City, I visited to 西門 (Xi Men). There are many special theme restaurants around 西門. So I decided to choose to dine in at Coca Cola Restaurant.

The Coca Cola Restaurant is located at second floor, while you are walking up the step to second floor, you can see Coca Cola displays on the wall and at the display panel.

When you step into the restaurant, the waiter will greet you in mandarin and will serve you. After that, the waiter will pass you the menu which written in Traditional Chinese character and small English printed below the Traditional Chinese character.

But quite surprising that the restaurant is not crowded. After choosing from the menu, I placed my order from the waiter. Please try to communicate with the waiter in Mandarin.

What next? You can snap pictures inside the restaurant with the Coca Cola display! About 20 minutes later, my food is being serve by the waiter. The food portion is huge! It will be great if you could share it with your friend!

Locational: 4/5 Quite near to Ximen MRT station.

Ambience: 3/5 Restaurant slightly messy near to the entrance!

Customer Service: 4/5 Not bad, but they must smile more =)

Waiting Time: 5/5 Quite fast!

Food Serving: 2/5 The food portion is simply too much for 1 person to consume!

Pricing: 4/5 Price is reasonable.

Card Promotion: NIL

Overall, A must to visit Coca Cola theme restaurant and snap pictures on Coca Cola.

If that is not enough for you, you can visit to the whole new concept which is part of the transforming into World Class Integrated Resorts which is known as "Resort World @ Sentosa."

At Resort World @ Sentosa, You can find theme park like Universal Studios Singapore, stay at World Class hotels, shopping and dining experience.

Resort World @ Sentosa just open a new store, "Candylicious". At Candylicious, you can find many exclusive candy brands product (Like M&M, Jelly Belly etc). You can get M&M T-shirt, alarm clock, sweets, display items, toys, socks and many more.

Other then M&M, you can get many products like Hello Kitty Candies, ice cream kiosk and many more candies. You will be headache of what to get for yourself as there are so many ranges of candies for you to choose from..

As for myself, I got myself M&M coin machine (SGD$26) where I need to slot in money and I can get M&M chocolate! But, I am quite disappointed that it does not support 50cent coin as the slot is too small. Anyway, I am quite delighted to get M&M coin Machine.

New York New York Food Review at Parkway Parade (Marine Parade)

Yesterday, Darius and I visited New York New York at Parkway Parade for dinner. At the point of visiting, there are not much crowded. The waitress was friendly to welcome us to patron to their restaurant.

We find our own seat and sat down to see the menu. After we decided what to eat, Darius waves his hand and within one minute, one lady in black served us. (if I am not wrong, she might be store supervisor or assistant manager.)

We ordered Breaded Mushroom SGD$9.90, Hot Plate Chicken SGD$13.90 and Hawaii Chicken Chop SGD$14.90. The lady in black was extremely friendly and smiled. She also repeated our order. After awhile, she smiled and served us 2 ice water.

About 10 minutes, Breaded Mushroom was served by waitress in blue color. She seemed to be nervous and the sauce was drooling off and has slight pour into the Breaded Mushroom. But nevertheless, the Breaded Mushroom smell quite tempted.

I took one piece and use a knife to cut it, the juice of the Breaded Mushroom came off and it was hot!! When I ate it with the sauce, it was so heavenly! Very juicy, crispy and yummy!!

About 15 minutes later, I was served by Black shirt lady again. When I saw my Hawaii Chicken Chop, I am very disappointed. Firstly, the food/dish arrangement looked very messy. Secondly, the vegetable was not fresh and in-fact turned slightly yellowish! Thirdly, the chicken looked very small piece.

After awhile, waitress served Darius one plate of vegetable first. After that, Hot Plate Chicken was served by a waiter.

I tasted the Chicken, it was scorched and had a hard time finish it. The Potato Wedges was fine but the vegetable really could not make it!

Now, let's talk about Darius food. His one plate of vegetable extremely not fresh at all! It's very yellowish. According to Darius, he told me that his food is very dry! They put too much of black peppers.

The Spaghetti was scorched. The chicken was not tender enough and too dry to be consumed! The eggs too scorched and dry! And both of us keep on drinking ice water due to scorched food!

Soon, the crowds started coming in and the restaurant was crowded and I guess they are lacked of staffs. We are trying to refill our ice-water but it seem like they are not free to pour it for us! Or perhaps, they are not expecting any crowds that why they did not deploy many staffs.

Then, we asked for our bill and it took about 5 minutes before someone approached us. The lady in black served us again. She's friendly and smiled. Very well manned service.

Locational: 3/5 (You need to alight at Paya Lebar MRT station and transfer to bus to reach Parkway Parade)

Ambience: 4/5 (Near to the company sign logo full of carton boxes of drinks and messy. Bad for company image)

Customer Service: 5/5 (They are friendly, polite and courtesy. Bonus, they smiled to every single customers)

Waiting Time: 4/5 (Acceptable Waiting Time but during lunch/dinner crowds should be improved)

Food Serving: 2/5 (Need to give fresh food and try to improve on food as either it's too dry or too scorch)

Pricing: 4/5 (Pricing are reasonable)Overall: I would likely recommend my friend to visit it!

Post Moon Cake Festival

Yesterday was Mid-Autumn Festival and all the Chinese in the whole world are celebrating it. To most Chinese, Mid-Autumn Festival is whole families member will reunion together and celebrates it by eating the moon cake and see the full-moon. For the children, they will be holding the beautiful and colorful lantern.

In Singapore, although Mid-Autumn Festival was not a public holiday but still most of the people here are celebrating it. On the Eve of Mid-Autumn Festival, you will see everyone buying and queue for Moon cake in last minute.

Not only the Chinese, difference races will buy the moon cake as well. As nowadays, moon cake comes with difference flavors like Almond, Apple, Chocolate, Durian, Tiramisu, Vodka Orange and other flavors. Most people will goes for Snow Skin Moon cake, as it is very soft and easy to consume.

But some people will go for traditional moon cake flavor. Especially the elders one. At the same time, people will purchase with Tea as normally consume the moon cake will feel greasy!

As for me, I got myself Apple and D24 Durian snow skin moon cake from Good Wood Hotel Singapore and Chocolate snow skin moon cake from TWG Tea.

They(Good Wood Hotel Singapore) actually put more ingredients into snow skin moon cake! It quite worth of money and do you know that Good Wood Hotel are famous for their Durian?

Although I tried the D24 Durian snow skin Moon cake, it's very greasy and strong smell but it is delicious!

And for the first time, Good Wood are selling Apple Flavor snow skin moon cake! Their Apple snow skin moon cake is green apple flavor! Very sour and yet yummy!!

I yet to try the Chocolate snow skin moon cake from TWG Tea. After I taste it, I'll update it through here.

Have you thought of traveling to Taiwan and you are not sure of Taiwan culture, food and where to visit? You come to the right channel as I will write down most of the information, which may interest you to visit to Taiwan!

Languages

Majority of Taiwanese speak Chinese ethnic languages like Mandarin 普通話/華語, Tai Yu 台話 (Min Nan Yu 閩南語or also known as Hokieen福建語) and Hakka 客家語. English is not commonly used in Taiwan as most of them could not understand or could not speak fluently. Although English is taught once the students enter elementary school.

Most of the signboard and menu are written in Traditional Chinese Character but English are written in Public Transport, Restaurants, most shopping mall and places of interest.

Cultural in Taiwan

When you reach Taiwan, you will be cultural shock! You are not allowed to throw tissue paper, toilet paper or anything into the toilet bowl. You need to throw it into the waste paper basket or thrash bin.

Most of the Taiwanese are courtesy and friendly. They queue for train at the platform and letting passengers to alight first before boarding the train. They stand at the right side of the escalator so that passengers who are rushing can walk on the left side.

When you are boarding the train at night, please note that you are not allowed to step into Women night zone cabin area as there are protection zone for women. You might be charge or sue for sexual disturbing from the local law.

Taiwanese are environment free. When you visited most of the shop in Taiwan, the shop keeper (7-Eleven, Shopping mall and others) will not issue you plastic bag. You cannot find thrash bin within 100m away. You need to carry your rubbish till you can find one thrash bin, which is perhaps 500m- 1000m away.

If you are throwing your rubbish into thrash bin, please note that you need to throw it to the correct bin. As their thrash bin will catalogue into difference types of rubbish.

Please note that certain hand sign are offences to the local and you might be charge from the local law. For example showing middle finger.

Touting

Most of the popular places or crowded areas in Taiwan, you are often been approached from aggressive touting services (This is bad). I advice you that not to offer their services as it will cost much compare to the government public transport. Or maybe you can ignore them or tell them you do not need the services. (They will keep on pressuring and following you)

Food

For Muslim friends, please note that most of the Taiwan Provinces food here are not Halah Certified. Even the fast food chain like McDonald's, KFC and many others fast food outlets are not Halah Certified.

Praying

The cost for 2 ways flight from SIN-TPE is about SGD$520 for 2 ways (As of September 2010) includes taxes and fuel.

Or, you can choose Airasia where you need to get flight to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and transit to Taipei. The cost for 1 way flight from SIN-KUL is about SGD$59 (As of September 2010) includes taxes and fuel.

When you reach Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You need to transit the flight to Taipei. The cost for 2 ways flight from KUL-TPE is about MYR914 (SGD$406) for 2 ways (As of September 2010) includes taxes and fuel.

After you departing back to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you need to transit the flight back to Singapore. The cost for 1 way flight from KUL-SIN is about MYR85 (SGD$38) (As of September 2010) includes taxes and fuel.

Dining at Trattoria Italian Kitchen, 313 Somerset

I visited to Trattoria Italian Kitchen (Trattoria Cucina Italian) which is located at 313 Somerset, Singapore. The decoration of the restaurant is very well- designed. Well Italian style and yet classic. The ambience is relaxing!

The Restaurant was not crowded at the point of visiting. The waitress at Trattoria Italian Kitchen are not friendly when you are browsing the menu. I cannot recalled if they are wearing name tag as I could not manage to see their name on it.

The service standard at Trattoria Cucina Italian are extremely terrible and horrified! The female waitress are really rude and it seem like they are unwilling to serve you and they used monotone to serve you.

One of the Chinese waitress says, "Where do you want to sit? In or Out?" I was like thinking, what is this? And I could not really understand what she mean. After some thought, I finally understand. She mean inside or outside of the restaurant premise.

I decided to sit outside of the restaurant as I could snap more photos. She passed me the menu and walked away. After decided what to eat, I ordered Classic Carbonara (Pasta) SGD$15.90 and Cotoletta Di Pesce (Fish & Chip) SGD$14.90. But, it took me quite awhile before someone could noticed me. It seem like they do not even bothered to serve me.

After awhile, another waitress served me complimentary Tomato Bruchetta. And a Chinese waiter put with a smile served me ice water and very friendly. I loved Tomato Bruchetta! The bread was crispy and yummy!

After some time of waiting, the food was served. Firstly, Cotoletta Di Pesce seem to be okay. But after eating it, I can tasted the fish and the fries are oily and not fresh, the vegetable are not fresh and overall, it's tasteless! I need to drink ice- water as it was oily!! I could not able to finish the food as it really oily!!

For the price of Cotoletta Di Pesce, I could visit to Fish & Co to have fish & Chip. The taste are better and the serving is just right and importantly it is not oily!

Secondly, Classic Carbonara looked very simple and plain. It's very cheesy and blended. It tastes like watery and the Bacon filling was Pathetic.

Ambience: 5/5 (Very well designed and relaxing)

Customer Service: 2/5 (Waitress are rude and unwilling to serve)

During the night time, I head down to Ann Siang Road, Singapore for photo shoots. Ann Siang Road is located beside MaxWell Hawker Center and near China Town.

Ann Siang Road one whole stretch of building is preserved and still maintained it well. It is actually pre-war building. The whole stretch of building is actually known as Mount Erskine.

At Mount Erskine, you can able to find local designer or local company (Fashion, Spa, Weeding etc) setting up their business here. At the last stretch of Ann Siang Road is well-known hotel, The Scarlet Hotel. The hotel was features in Korean popular drama, 케세라, 세라 (Que Sera Sera).

While you are walking along the stretch of Mount Erskine and Ann Siang Hill, you can find many interesting things to see. You will love it when you are there and see it for yourself!

My Malaysian friend came down to Singapore for holiday. So today, I decided to bring him to Marina Bay Sands and see the great scenery at the SKY PARK. We pay the entrance fees of SGD$20 at the ticketing counter and we took the lift to 56F.

When we step into the Sky Park, we are impressed! The scenery is brilliant! Especially the sunset! Every visitors was impressed and happy to see the great view. Although SGD$20 is expensive but it is worth it!

I had no regret to bring my friend to Sky Park!

Bid Good Bye to Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games

Yesterday, 26 August 2010 was the last day for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games which is held in Singapore! It was a sad moment that everyone will be bid good bye to Youth Olympic Games. For the past 2 weeks, everyone was watching and catching the sport and support and cheer their own country athletes.

Everyone was impressed and beyond expectations for Inaugural Youth Olympic Games. Some of the IOC members regret not to bring their best athletes to compete in Youth Olympic Games. All the hard work from the SYOG members, volunteers and the sponsors are pay off! Everyone is grateful to the volunteers. Without the volunteers, the inaugural Youth Olympic Games will not be success!

As for me, I am proud to be the volunteer for the Youth Olympic Games. Yesterday we had a great party. We are lucky as our venue is close to the Marina Float Platform (Stadium) for the closing ceremony.

We watched LIVE telecast through our iPhone app from SingTel and StarHub. At the same time we could catch the fireworks in full view!! The scenery was so beautiful!! Everyone took photographs for the last moment.

President Jacques Rogge, the International Olympic Committee told 3600 athletes, “Years from now, when you reflect on your sports career, you will be able to say ‘I was in Singapore, where it all began’. You will keep this Singapore spirit alive in your countries as true role models. Let's the Singapore spirit to be live on!"

At 2101, the Youth Olympic Games fire flame was put out. Everyone was silents and it marks the end of the festival. Everyone bid farewell to the inaugural Youth Olympic Games. This is not the end of the journey but it is a brand new beginning for Youth Olympic Games.

In Year 2014, Nanjing, China will take over Singapore and host the 2nd Youth Olympic Games in summer. I'm sure that Nanjing host a great success for the Youth Olympic Games.

In the movie, Luke want to change people life by dancing but lack of finance. He need people to win the Dance jam. But somehow things not right according to his plan.

Luke decided to give up his dream as he lost his hope. Luke fall in love with girl but he is disappointed that he thought the girl he loves is betraying on him.

Although there are no subtitles but you will understanding by seeing and hearing. The best part is that STEP UP 3 is now in 3D version where you can catch the special effect!!

I really love STEP UP 3 as the show motivate us never give up our dream and whatever we do, we should fulfill it and try our best!

Tough Match Between Singapore and Peru in Volleyball Girl Games

21 August 2010- Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games Volleyball match @ Toa Payoh Sport Hall. Girl Team. Singapore Vs Peru match at 1230 hours.

It was a very tough and great game match for the girl team in volleyball. Many locals (Host city) and Peru supporters came down to Toa Payoh Sport Hall to support their home team.

There are many cheering and excitement to watch this match. Singapore try to defend the players from Peru but failed and it was really tough game for Singapore to score.

In this match, there are many Technical Time Out. Both countries substitute new player in and old player out. For instant, Peru team substitute Player 9 IN to Player 1 OUT. Peru player 11 OUT substitute player 12 IN.

There are loud cheering for Team Singapore when the girls score a point for Singapore. In the end, Peru wins all the three rounds as follows:

Round 1, SIN 11 VS Peru 25.

Round 2, SIN 13 VS Peru 25.

Round 3, SIN 12 VS Peru 25.

Although Singapore did not wins but at least the girls had tried their best in this volleyball matches. When I twitter the live score, I am surprised that many people are follows my twits and request me to post the more of the result!

At first, I do not know where is Peru and now thanks to my Peru followers, I am now know where is Peru and according to my followers, they twits to me that Peru are strong in Volleyball sport.

This is my first time to be so excited to catch this volleyball matches! I am admire them for playing such a great games. Although Team Singapore knew that their score are unable to hit Peru score but they insist, never give up and Perseverance till the final round. This show the team spirits between the girls.

I believe that many youths are aware of the Volleyball after since the tough match.

We Did It! Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games

14 August 2010- Today is the historical moment for Singapore and everyone is excited to look forward for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) which will be held here! Singapore did not host any Olympic Games before and this could be the first and the last time or maybe few hundred years that Singapore will be held the YOG again!

Many volunteers and sponsors came and help out in making a great success for the YOG. I also came forward to be YOG volunteer. All we want to do is to be a great host to our Athletes and their families and friends and overseas guest who will be here to support their local athletes.

Do you know that it all started in Year 2001, International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge's started to have Youth Olympic Games idea. In year 2007, all the IOC members approved to create YOG. 10 August 2007, Singapore submit a bid to host the event. In 21 January 2008, Singapore and Moscow are the two finalist in the bid to host the Youth Olympic Games. 21 February 2008 at 1911 hours, Singapore was announced to host YOG from IOC President.

Singapore only have 2.5 years to prepare for the YOG and the next host city will have 6 years to prepare for the YOG!

We only have the short period to prepare and today is the day where we will be showing our results to the whole world to see!

Members of the public went to the Marina Marina Float Platform (Stadium) quite early before the gate opens to the public at 1600 hours.

My aunt and myself will be watching it LIVE at the stadium as we got for the ticket. The time is 1600 hours but there are some delay, therefore the gate will not be open. By 1620 hours, the gates are opens are many people are dashing through to the security check point and everyone tapping the world first integrated ticket card which includes VISA electronic debit card, Transportation card where you can ride it for free during the Opening/Closing Ceremony and the race games itself.

The ushers also gave everyone a interact kit coupon (Goodies Bag) where we can collect it when we reach the Marina Float Platform (Stadium). Towards the Marina Float Platform, there are two stores. One is selling the food and drink and other stall is selling the Singapore 2010 items.

When we reach the stadium, let me tell you the scenery here! It is the most beautiful landscape view that I ever seen! From there, you can see the Central Business District (CBD), the Merlion Park and the newly completed Marina Bay Sands!

At 1900 hours, the event had started with dance and song. At 20:10 hours, the Youth Olympic Game will be official commerce! The IOC President, Jacques Rogge's, Singapore President, Mr S.R. Nathan, Singapore Senior Minister, Mr Goh Chok Tong and many officials are here to watch the important moment!

Great performance, Great Fire Work and the stage design look like a lake! When the performers carry the Singapore flag and the 27,000-strong audience start Singing the National Anthem of Singapore. At this moment, I feel proud and sense of belonging! All our hard work and efforts is worth it! The whole world is watching this tiny city country which many will think that we could not able to archive. But we prove them wrong!

Then every countries flag was showcase and the President of Singapore, Mr S.R. Nathan declare the opening of the inaugural Youth Olympic Games with Fireworks!

After that the torch bearer arrives at the Marina Floating platform and one of the lucky torch bear Sailor Darren Choy from Team Singapore running the final stretch of the torch journey and light up the flame.

Finally, the former Olympic athletes present the Olympic flag to the Youth Olympic athletes and walk toward to flag pole and everyone start to sing the Olympic anthem.

I enjoyed myself and very happy. Singapore have successful showcase to the World that we can host such a grand and glories moment! What more important is that we are part of the historic and our names will be written down to our next generation to the next generation.

Well done Singapore! To all the Athletes, please have a great time and enjoy yourself while you are in Singapore! All the best to you!

First of all, I wish to apology to my readers for not updating my Blog. I'm deeply sorry as I was busy for the few days due to the biggest event which held in Singapore! I even worked till 4am in the morning and reporting to work at 840am till 1030pm! That is exhausted!

Some customers treat us like maid. Yelling and commending you! And they are pampered! Really hard to please. I really tired and exhausted of what I am working now. I do not like this working environment! It is so complicated and having conflict. I lost my hope and no point staying on for so long.

It is time for me to move on to better prospect and where everyone share together as one. What do you think?

I love this year theme song. It's really touches my heart. There are many Singaporeans who pursue their dreams and at the same time, they fly our flag proudly! Like some of the local singers who is based in overseas and make us proud!

Some of the actor/singers are quite well-known in Entertainment industry like the following singers:

1) Arron Aziz who is Singaporean Male actor is now based in Malaysia.

2) Ah- Du is Singaporean Male singer is now based in Taiwan.

3) Corrinne May (Corrinne Foo May Ying) is Singaporean Female Singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles.

4) Stefanie Sun Yan Zi is Singaporean Female Singer who is now based in Taiwan.

It is impossible for me to write all the actor/singer on the list but this is the few examples who lives their dream and fly our flag proudly!

Even some of my friends are based in differences part of the world who pursue their dreams. We should give them encouragement and morale supports! It is not easy to live such a comfortable zone and move to foreign lands. What's more, you need to start everything again. Terry in Singapore

Last weekend, my Malaysian friend, Terry visited Singapore for holiday. During his visit to Singapore, we arranged differences locations to meet as he will be staying at Johor Bahru, Malaysia instead of Singapore. That mean, he had to cross the custom to Singapore.

Day 1: We met at Bugis first. After which, we walked to Arab Street and visited the oldest mosque, Sultan Mosque in Singapore and also see and experiences the Malay culture. After that, I also brought him to Toys museum which is located near to the Sultan Mosque.

After that, we took bus to City Hall. To our surprised, today was the National Day Parade Rehearsal. So most of the road lanes are blocked. At the same time, Terry could catch the preview of Singapore National Day Parade. After that, we walked to CBD area and Singapore oldest market, Lau Pa Sat.

We went to Windy's for our meal. After we had our dinner, we took pictures and also catch the Singapore Army vehicles passing through the road. It was amazing to catch it. Then, we took the train from Raffles Place interchange and transfer Circle line to Esplanade station.

Terry got his shoes, T-shirt and short at Suntec City Singapore before we ended our day.

Day 2: We met at Circle Line, Bras Basah station. After that, we walked towards SMU and then National Museum of Singapore to take pictures. I also showed him Singapore Historical places like the Fort Canning Park. Where he can know the World War II history that took place in Singapore and the transformation of Singapore fate. After that, we went to National Museum of Singapore to see the cultures of Singapore.

We walked to Orchard Road to shop and also discussed the recently flooded in Orchard Road. Before we head back to home.

Day 3: I brought him to Sentosa to see the Resort World @ Sentosa and also the theme park. We also visited to Fort Siloso to see the only one most completed Fort in Sentosa island!

It was a totally great experiences to explore the history in Singapore as Terry is working at the Press. At the same time, we had a better understand of the World War II and how life was like when Japanese controlled Singapore.

We are so fortune to live in Peace and Harmony life. We should be grateful to our forefathers who fought for freedom and peace. Everyone of us have the role to play! We should protect our country and should not treat peace for grated.

After that, we went to Beach station and play the attractions at Sentosa and took some scenery photos. Before we took the Sentosa Express (Monorail) back to Habourfront. I took him to Singapore Post Office HQ which is located at Paya Lebar as Terry need to buy stamp and mail back to KL Malaysia.

Today, my friends and I visited to South East Asia first Universal Studios theme! Universal Studios Singapore is located at Sentosa island and managed by Resort World Sentosa.

You can reach there by the following options below:

Bus: Take bus RW8 outside Vivo City bus stop,

Train: Alight at Fabourfront Station and change to Sentosa Express (Monorail) at 3F. After which, alight at Waterfront Station.

Taxi/Cab: Tell the driver that you are heading to Sentosa Casino. For the taxi fare and the charges, you may wish to visit to this website, http://www.taxisingapore.com/taxi-fare/

The Universal Studios Singapore is located at 1F. The entrance cost S$66 for non peak seasons (Weekdays) and S$72 for peak seasons (Weekends/Public Holiday/School Vacation). Please book your tickets before hand as on the day itself, the tickets are SOLD OUT. Due to high demand on tourists visiting to Universal Studios Singapore.

Although we went on Monday, but still it was so crowded! Almost all the rides need to queue for almost 30 minutes and those popular rides expected to be queue for 1hr 20 minutes! There are food court as well and it kinda costly but it will be cheaper if you choose the S$5 off voucher on food!

You can also shop for it retails using the S$5 off voucher on shopping as well. I love the scenery! It will be great if the theme park close at 8pm so as to see the night scenery!

It was fun going Universal Studios Singapore with a group of friends!

How to Update iPhone OS 4.0

Yesterday, apple had released a new firmware of OS 4.0 for all iPhone and iTouch users. For those who own iPhone 3Gs, you can see the most impact of the new firmware of OS 4.0 compare to iPhone 3G and iTouch users. As their changes will be very limited. For example, iTouch users unable to change their wallpaper on their home screen.

To update the firmware OS 4.0, you need the following items before you can proceed.

Index A

1. iTunes program*.

2. A computer which connect to the internet.

3. apple USB cable.

4. apple iPhone/ iTouch devices.

Index B

Firstly, making sure that your computer connect to the internet.

After which, open your iTunes program. Please make sure that your iTunes version is 9.2.0.61

Next, use the apple USB cable and connect to your computer and apple iPhone/ i Touch devices.

Forth, iTunes will automatic syncing your apple devices to your computer.

Next, it will automatic backing up your apple devices data to your computer.

Sixth, on the Left column, scroll down to devices, click on it.

After that, you will see many tabs folders on the right column. Choose 'Summary'.

Then, you will see three (3) rolls, which is iPhone, Version and Options.

Ninth, choose version and click on check for update.

After that, it will prompt you iPhone have new update of firmware OS 4.0

Click update and it will prompt you if you want to backup your apps/data to the computer. Click OK to continue.

After it back up to the computer, it will now syncing your iPhone to firmware OS 4.0. It will takes about 15-25 minutes to update. Your iPhone will auto switch on and off. So, please do not plug out the USB cable or the iPhone.

My BEST ADVICE to you is that, please switch ON your iPhone to Airplane mode so that while syncing and updating, you will not able to receive any call or messages. And it will not stop updating. It will stop updating and syncing if someone call or message you.

When it is complete, it will stated on the Version (Refer to Index B, Paragraph 6-8) as Your iPhone is now successful updating to firmware OS 4.0. Click OK to disconnect.

Now, you are using the brand new iPhone firmware OS 4.0!! Enjoy the excitement of the new firmware of OS 4.0!! Remember to OFF the Airplane mode if you ON it!

The first ever Youth Olympic Game (YOG) will be commerce on August, which will be held in Singapore. On the Opening ceremony day itself, 5 singers will be represents each continents to sing a theme song which is known as 'Everyone'.

Those 5 singers which represents each continents are:

Travelling Back to Time

On 24th of May 2010, the news reported that Malaysia and Singapore had finally reached the agreement that the KTM tanjung Pagar railway station will cease by 1 July 2011 and will be relocated to Woodland Train Checkpoint. The station will be conserved and maybe integrated with future developments.

Do you know that the land on which the KTM railway tracks and the station in Singapore are belong to Malaysia on a 999 years lease which will be expires in year 3009!!

Yesterday, I visited to the site before it will be relocated to Woodlands Train Checkpoint. When I reached the site, I can felt that I am now travelling back to time.

The station was completed in 1932. It looks old and yet classic. In the station itself, it words are written in Malay follow by English. You also can find Muslim food stores in the station.

I tried the Indian Rojak and surprising, the food is delicious!! I also saw many people specially came here to take the pictures as well.

At KTM Tanjung Pagar (Tanjong Pagar) Railway station, it is proudly displayed Malaysia and the 13 states flag.

The main hall is where passengers can buy the ticket to West Malaysia differences states and the waiting hall where you can wait for your friends and families.

Please do visit to KTM Tanjung Pagar Railway Station before it relocated to new premises.

Once again, Toy Story 3 Movie is back to the cinema again! I could remembered the first ever Toy Story 1, my mum brought us to the cinema and watched it. It bring me back my childhood memories!

My favourite character was buzz and while my younger brother like Woody. They are so cute and funny. Finally, Toy Story 3 are back and this time round, movie-goers can watch it in 3D!

Toy Story 3 still main lead by the Buzz and Woody. We also should not forget about their old and new friends in this movie!

The favourite part of the Toy Story 3 trailer which I like is: Andy are grow up now and he does not want his toys anymore, so he decided to give all the toys to the school. All the children picked all of toys which Andy had given to the school. Mr and Mrs Potato body parts are all unassembled by the kids in the school playground. At night time, both of them tried to return their body part to each others but ending up very messy. Mr and Mrs Potato kinda upset about it!

Does Andy still love his toys and want it back and what is the upcome for Woody and his friends?

For the past two days, I went out with Janis and カナ.

On 5th of June 2010, Janis and her friend and myself visited differences part of attractions in Singapore. We visited City Hall to Merlion Park to Esplanade Arts & Culture Centre to Marina Bay Sands and to Orchard.

Especially Orchard Central, the scenery looks great!! Very Italy style.. Here are the below of what we took on 5th of June 2010.

モールは静かなHMVのような店のほとんどがダウンして、新しい建物に移動していたようだ。同時に、我々が写真を撮りました。その後、我々は店4Skinと呼ばれるに行き、バッグとシャツをご覧ください。私はかなり袋がのようにも考慮した。その後、我々は青少年公園に再び写真を撮るに行きました。我々は、写真がインスタントフィルムを使用してスナップかなり楽しい時間を過ごした。

そのあと、私たちが戻ってHereen再び4Skinからバッグを買うに戻ります。我々は出発前にお支払いの後、私たちはイオンオーチャードに写真を撮るに行きました。

It was such a short and wonderful memories which we went through together. Although we might had some conflict but yet you still endure on me.

I remembered everything which you did for me. I thought both of us have great future ahead but somehow you are no longer beside me. When I want to share my joy, I realized that you are no longer the one whom can share the joy with me.

Somehow I realized that I been to the places where we had spent together.. When I saw Doraemon, I remembered you made 3D Doraemon puzzle for me. When I saw Shrek 3, I remembered we suppose to watch it.

I am very touched by your act. I always gave me surprised and made my life exciting and always look forward everyday..

When you told me you wanted to go clubbing, I really knew that you will be seeing someone else. My Six sense never fail me. In my heart, I knew something would happen.

How could you broke off with me by SMS during my mother's birthday? It was such a coward acts to break with someone by SMS. Instead of face to face. This is a Cruel and reality world..

Do you know that I am very lost for few days and keep on missed you. Now my life are in the mess. I really not sure how am I going to clear such mess.... I am lost.... lost..... lost.....

I am lonely .. Loneliness.. Sigh..

Thank you for giving a great and sweet memories.. I will always remembered.. Although we are no longer together but, I always there for you if you need my help and comfort.

Cookie Museum

Today after my work, I head down to Esplanade mall for a scroll walk from my busy schedule. I happen to drop by to very lovely cafe which is known as 'Cookie Museum'.

I love their concept. I am sure my aunt and my mother will love it for sure if I bring them to this cafe. The staffs at Cookie Museum are so friendly and polite.

First, they greet and bring you to comfortable seat. After which, they serve you their menu. What more, they have many nice cookies which you can only find in Singapore. Cookies like 'Nasi Lemak', 'Ikan Bilis', Rose and so on.. It is very tasty and one word which can describe, Shoick! Which is mean delicious!!

You should order a cup of Earl Tea, English Tea or any Tea and enjoy yourself with the delicious cookies or cake in this lovely cafe.

If they provide Mint Tea, it will be perfect as Mint Tea blend well with cookies. I do enjoy myself at Cookie Museum. Enjoy myself with a cup of tea and at the same time taste the crunchy cookies.

I can sense that they made the cookies full of passion. What more important to make a nice cookies is that, you must have a lovely heart and passion of making the cookies.

If one make the cookies without passion and lovely heart, you can taste the cookies is awful and you will not feel calm and feel very stress.

But for Cookie Museum, I really enjoy myself eating the cookies!! What more, you can try the cookies before you buy it. Their metal tin and the paper bag is cool!! Each tin of cookies which is 500g and cost about S$40 onwards.

Cookie Museum also features in many printed, internet and TV media like, 'The Best Cookies in Singapore' by Her World Magazine, June 2008, 'World 4th Finest Tearoom' by askmen.com, 'Uniquely Singapore Souvenir' by The Official Guide & map in Singapore and many more.

I think Girls will love it. You can open a small tea parties with your friends or even held a Birthday party at Cookie Museum. I am sure that it will be a great moment to held a great party through here.

I am not sure why I sudden felt emptiness and lost in this reality world. I just cannot concentrate. What should I do? I am tired.. It was like the same routine everyday. I need more time! One day 24 hours definitely not enough for me!

I cannot do so many things in one second! I cant' multi-tasked! I am lack of sleep... So helpless sometime. I need entertainment!!

Day 3: Kuala Lumpur to Singapore

25 April 2010- It was the final day in Kuala Lumpur. Mel and I will be returning back to Singapore.

We packed our stuff and check out from the hotel. We left our belonging at the lobby and we went to Old Town cafe for our breakfast, which is located inside the Pavilion Mall (Bukit Bintang).

I loved the ice blended Hazelnut white coffee!! The taste is so superb! I also ordered Hor Fun. After our breakfast, we head to KLCC to shop since there are enough time.

After that, we took the train back to our hotel to claim our items and we took a cab to bus terminal and board the coach back to Singapore.

The journey to Kuala Lumpur is too short and too rush! I guess the next visit should be 4 days 3 night will be great!

Day 2: Kuala Lumpur and Pulau Ketam Tour

24 April 2010: I woke up quite early at 0615 hours. As it was still early and we planned to visit Pulau Ketam, I decided to tune in to Television and watched the local channel. I am quite surprised that ASTRO ACE channel features Singapore local Mediacorp TV shows! I guessed that Singapore show is quite popular in Malaysia media market.

At the same time waited for Mel to wake up. I tried my best to wake Mel but I failed. Finally, Mel woke up and both of us prepared ourselves and left the hotel. First thing first, we will be eating our breakfast first. We walked to LOT10 and eat Malaysian local food.

After eating our breakfast, we went to ride the monorail and alighted at KL Sentral and take about 15 minutes walk to KL Sentral hub (Note that KL Monorail is not linked with Putra LRT, KTM and bus terminus).

We got the ticket from the KTM ticket counter and went to Platform 5. After reaching the Port Klang Terminal (Apox 1hrs 50mins), you need to take High Speed Boat (Apox 30mins) to Pulau Ketam.

Pulau Ketam is actually a Chinese Fishing Village. The houses are all built on stilt above the mangrove swamps. Pulau Ketam is the only island where you cannot find any motor vehicles!! The only transport mode is through bicycle.

The living standard is very simple. From there, you will understand how lucky we are living in Modern World. It was a great exposes for me to visit to Pulau Ketam.

What more, the food was great!! Everything was fresh and home made! If you have the chance to travel to Kuala Lumpur, why not give yourself a half day trip to Pulau Ketam and experience it.

After our visit to Pulau Ketam, we took the KTM and back to KL Sentral and after which, we took the KTM again at Platform 6 to Mid Valley.

We head to Hong Kong KIM Gary for our dinner. After our dinner, we shop around at the Mid Valley before we are heading back to Bukit Bintang. At the same time, I finally got Malaysia Digi Prepaid card activated!!

Around 11plus pm, we went out with Wai for supper at Jalan Alor and then head down to A&W for root beet float. Actually wanted to eat the waffle ice-cream but un-fortune, it sold out!! It would be my greatest regret for not having A&W waffle ice-cream.

Day 1: Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, West Malaysia

23 April 2010. I woke up at 0540 hours. Packed last minutes items and showered before heading out. When I left my house, I realized that I forgotten to bring my ezlink out. -.-

I went back home again and took ezlink and went out again. Just then, my bus arrived and I board the bus. The bus journey is kinda slow as it stops every bus stop.

Finally, I reached Hock Seng Building where the Transtar Coach is located. I reached quite early. I waited for Mel to arrive. Soon, Mel Arrived and we checked in at Transtar Coach office.

While we are waiting for the bus to depart, the Transtar staff served us coffee. About 0820 hours, the bus arrives and we are now board the bus. It departed at 0830 hours. It stopped at Golden Mile Complex to fetch passengers.

Now, it drove towards to Singapore Checkpoint and head to Malaysia Checkpoint. Soon, we transit at Yong Peng for 20 minutes. Before it resumed back the journey.

The bus equips with Massage chair and in-built TV entertainment system. I took a nap before we reach Kuala Lumpur (KL). About 1430 hours, we reached Pusaraya terminal, KL. After that, we walked towards to Time Square and board the KL Monorail to Bukit Bintang station and checked in the hotel at Federal Hotel, KL.

After that, we took showered and rest awhile before we heading out for shopping. We went to Pavilion for shopping and then head to KLCC to meet Mitt for dinner. We dine in at Mdm Kwan Restaurant.

After dining at KLCC, Mel and I head to Chinatown and shop for purse which my aunt wanted. Then, we took the train and went to Time Square for late night movie show before we are heading back to hotel.

Yesterday morning, I boarded the train at Circle Line, MacPherson Station and alighted at Bishan Interchange. Then, I walked to North South Line and boarded the train and alighted Admiralty station and waiting for the free shuttle bus to Singapore Safety Driving Centre (SSDC).

Just then, I suddenly remembered that I forgotten to bring my Student Booklet out with me!! I hope that everything will be fine without the booklet. Soon, the shuttle bus arrived. Guess what, the bus engine died. According to the bus driver, the brake is out of the control and it was dangerous to drive!

I was like.. What a great day for me.. I was discouraged and I am prepared to fail for my Basic Theory Test. I keep on waiting for the replacement bus and hopefully I can reach the SSDC on time.. About 15 minutes, the replacement bus arrived.

Soon, I reached the SSDC and take the lift. Guess what, one of the lift is not working!! When I reached the Level 4, it is about to start the theory trial lesson.

Again, something horrible happen!! The network is down!!! How am I going to do my theory trial lesson? I came forward and took one of the past year paper and do while waiting for the network to stable.

After finished the theory trial lesson, I quickly walk out of the classroom and wanted to take the lift down to ground floor. But, the lift is like so slow!! Finally, the lift arrived!

When I reached ground floor, I quickly walk to the Basic driving theory test (BTT) room and wanted to sit for the test and it is about to start the test!! Phew!!

I do all the 50 questions and I double check my answer before I submit! I thought I would fail the test but I was surprised that I passed the BTT and I could able to apply my Provisional Driving License!

I am so excited!! It is seem I am riding the roller coaster ride!!

11 New Stations of Circle line to commerce tomorrow, 17 April 2010. There are grand opening for tomorrow event.

Taiwanese hottest and famous females group band, S.H.E will be there to open the ceremony at Stadium station as tomorrow they will held their concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium and at the same time, the new station which is Stadium station can bring the people directly to the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Not only that, Taiwanese hottest and famous males group band, Mayday will held their concert tomorrow at National Stadium as well. So, it is expected that the new station will be crowded.

It is advice the commuters to buy extra single ticket or get a stored value ezlink card to avoid the long queue.

What more, the Esplanade station will also held an event too for it grand opening. Singapore famous aunty, Aunty Lucy will be there as well.

Do drop by to Stadium Station or Esplanade to support your artists.

Oldie Car Park Paying System

In the new technology era, everything are using wireless technology system to pay everything. In Singapore, paying your car park fee are using ERP or NETS cash card.

I was very surprised that I could actually found one car park which is not equip with new technology at the world famous shopping belt district, Orchard Road.

It is actually using the ticket system. When you drive through the car park barrier, you need to press the button for the ticket. After which, the barrier will be open and enable you to park your car at any lots available. Please bring the ticket along with you and do not lost it! As you need it later on.

Before you leave the car park, you need to pay your car park fee using the machine by inserting the ticket to the machine and using coins or dollars note to pay.

After which, the ticket will be printed. Before you could exit the car park, you need to insert the ticket before the barrier will open for you to drive off.

Sunset

I love sunset. Sunset scenery is so mesmerizing. Especially if you play lounge or chill music, it is perfect!!

It is also an reminder to us that, one day has passed and we should do something useful and we must treasure each other. We should respect people, in order people can respect us.

Playground

The children nowadays are so fortunate. They (the children) have the world class entertainment playground for them to play. Right now, the children are using ipod touch, iphone and even ipad.

Compare to the older generation like us, the playground brought us many happiness memories. We can played the playground with nearby kids like hide and seek, catching and so on..

When time passes by, new technology is launching and sooner, the old technology or even the basic playground will be left behind.

Till now, I still remembered very clearly that during my childhood time, where my mum would brought me to Wisma, Orchard and we will head up to 7th floor to the roof top.

At Roof Top, it is open air playground where many children are happily running and playing. I wore my favorite pilot hat but it was lost..

I also remembered that i used to carry big blue elephant soft toys out whenever I go out with my mum.

I also remembered the old plaza singapura where the McDonald is located outdoor and there are playground too...

Just that the technology changes too fast.. I am still wonder what would it look like in 5 years time. Will all the playground being demolish?

Sammi Singapore Concert on 2nd April 2010

2nd April 2010- Sammi held her concert at Singapore Indoor Stadium on Good Friday, which is a public holiday in Singapore.

Not only fans in Singapore support Sammi, fans from Hong Kong and Malaysia come here to support her as well! It had been a long time that Sammi held her concert in Singapore!

Sammi sung many Cantonese songs and speak Mandarin. Although the fans prefer Sammi to speak Cantonese.

Many fans are so excited and enjoyed themselves! After her concert ended, many fans shouted Encore as they wanted Sammi to sing another song again!

It was a great night for fans to enjoy Sammi Concert.

Many Singaporeans or even tourists may know Haw Par Villa or Tiger Balm. It had its glorious moments and often flown in with many visitors. Many might know the place for its Dragon, with boat ride to the 10 Courts of Hell and the most exciting ride would be the water coaster.

It used to cost a lot for the entrance fees but now, it is free of charge and it has changed a lot. The Dragon and the water coaster are no longer there. In order to attract the crowd back, a MRT Line is now constructed for easier access to the place.

At Haw Par Villa, you can find many sculptures with Chinese Mythology stories and the life after death. It is a great place to visit with. Doraemon glad to visit to Haw Par Villa. As it is a educational and Doraemon knew a lot of Chinese culture and the values.

To visit to Haw Par Villa, it is located at 262 Pasir Panjang Road. It is opens daily from 0900 hours-1900 hours.

Shuang Lin Temple (双林诗) is one of the oldest temple in Singapore which is also part of the national monument.

Shuang Lin Temple is located at Kim Keat Road next to the Pan- Island Expressway (PIE). During weekends, there are many devotees go there to pray.

Doraemon had the chance to visit to Shuang Lim Temple and loves this place so much.

Circle Line Open House

On the 17 April 2010, 11 stations at Circle Line will officially open to the public. Before it commerces operations, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and SMRT held an Open house today.

My dad and I went to MacPherson station this morning for the open house. There are LIVE performance at this station. Members of the public are so excited to ride the first bounce train which arrives from Tai Seng station.

We board the train towards Dhoby Ghaut and alight at Bras Basah station. We head down to the Singapore Museum and to see the gallery. We thought of seeing the Mummy gallery but it was so long queue that we gave up on this gallery and see another gallery..

After that, we walk back to Brash Basah station and there are so many events going on at the same time. It was out of control and people starting to cut the queue to get the free gift..

After that, my dad wanted to take passport photo so I thought of Suntec City. We board the train towards Dhoby Ghaut as it is one station away and it will bounce back to Tai Seng.

We alight at Esplanade station and walk to Suntec City. We visited to Carrefour as well. After that, we went to the exhibition hall before we board the train back. We board the train to Paya Lebar and see the layout of the station.

I am surprised that this station have three platform!! I am assume that when it is peak hours, the middle platform will be operational to cease the human traffic.

After that, we board the train to MacPherson station and watched the opera performance before going home.

Earth Hour

今天是地球日。全球各地包括新加坡也參與關燈一小時的活動。在新加坡，很多組織參與這個很有意義的活動。就連很有名氣的烏節路也參與。

在8點 30分時刻，主詞人和民眾一起倒數關燈一小時。民眾很興奮。整條烏節路都暗了許多。這裡也有現場演唱會來帶動民眾慶祝地球日。

請愛惜地球。愛惜地球人人有責。

Today is Earth Hour Day. Many countries which include Singapore are joining hand-in-hand with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to switch off the light from 830pm to 930pm sharp.

In Singapore, many organisations are switching off the light. Those few organisations like CapitaLand, Changi Airport, The Esplanade, Far East Organisation, Resorts World Sentosa and many more.

Even the shopping districts like the Orchard Road are switching off the light. I was at Wisma Atria with many shoppers and counting down for the light to switch off. Many people are so excited and clapping their hands to see the building light been switch off.

Wisma Atria roof top also had some events. The shoppers can see the telescope and see the stars and the planet. This is my first time to see Saturn Planet!!! After that, I went to ION and catch the LIVE performance for the Earth Hour.

Do you know that when you switching off the light, you are actually saving the Earth by preventing from Global Warming! Adjusting the Air-Conditional to 25 degrees and off it when you are not using it anymore.
